Brainspace’s Predictive Coding is a technology-assisted workflow that allows users to quickly identify relevant documents within a larger population. By reviewing a smaller subset of documents, classification models can be generated to prioritize and code documents within a population, and a trained coder then verifies whether those documents are relevant.
Using predictive coding eliminates the need to produce 100% of relevant court documents which may be prohibitively expensive. Instead, probabilities and statistics are utilized to produce an agreed upon percentage of relevant documents, with a reasonable level of confidence.
If you’re ready to take a deep dive, you should work through Predictive Coding 101.
