The following figure illustrates these operators: ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3e21d801-ca9f-4c51-93db-9cbd32741f3d/Images/Documentation/selective-set-module-image-ftqrwuvc.png) After a Selective Set has been created, the inactive Selective Set is represented in the Selective Set Module Navigation with the ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3e21d801-ca9f-4c51-93db-9cbd32741f3d/Images/Documentation/selective-set-module-image-c7fspgg9.png) icon. When a Selective Set is active the Selective Set is highlighted in the Selective Set Module Navigation. Once the Selective Set is created it can be used for reports and export purposes. ![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/3e21d801-ca9f-4c51-93db-9cbd32741f3d/Images/Documentation/selective-set-module-image-r3ypx3u6.png) ### Create and Use Selective Sets For instructions on how to create and utilize Selective Sets, refer to the guide, [***Subsetting Data through Selective Sets.***](/discovery-manager/docs/subsetting-data-through-selective-sets) ## Related - [Subsetting Data through Selective Sets](/subsetting-data-through-selective-sets.md)
