Overview of Key Features

Blackout Redactions

Blackout has come out of feature flag and is now available for all users with enhancements to provide improved spreadsheet redaction, labeling, and production workflows.

Search and Redact
Users can now search across spreadsheets and apply redactions directly from search results, simplifying large-scale redaction workflows.
Labels During Preview, Print, and Produce
When previewing, printing, or producing documents, users can include or exclude redactions by label, offering greater control over which redactions appear in the final output.
Updated Production Workflow
The production process now includes a new default slipsheet rule for PDF + Spreadsheet productions, streamlining and standardizing output.
Redaction Tracking
To improve workflows and filtering precision, an additional redactions tracking “by view” was introduced.

Producing redacted Blackout spreadsheets requires specific settings during Production. See the minimum required settings for producing redacted Blackout spreadsheets in the Blackout Redactions – Production Settings article.

Reveal Support

A new Doc360 Widget was added to the header in the Reveal product. This opens the Reveal resource center which provides links to release notes, documentation, Reveal Academy, and support right at the fingertips of the users, without having to go directly to Reveal’s knowledge base.

New	Print	Added a “Redaction Profile” drop down menu which allows to choose a profile when users want to print redactions in Spreadsheet View. This appears after checking the Redaction checkbox.
New	Reveal Support	Added a new Doc360 Widget to the header which opens the Reveal resource center which provides links to release notes, documentation, Reveal Academy, and support without having to leave the window.
New	Searching and Filtering	Provided the ability to select “Search Profile” in the Hit Report in Project Admin.
Update	Blackout Redactions	Improved the process when users create redactions with a label in spreadsheet view. Now, when clicking on the eye icon to Toggle Preview, they are be able to see the redaction label on the redaction.
Update	Blackout Redactions	Revised logging implementation to improve performance, better supporting high-volume scenarios while creating and deleting a large number of redactions.
