Processing Workflows in the Web
The Excluded File Types setting in Processing Project Settings and Templates has been redesigned for greater control and usability. The previous toggle has been replaced with a dropdown menu offering two options: Exclude by Extension, which displays a text input field, and Exclude by Signature, which opens a modal with selectable file signatures. This update allows for much more detailed control over which files are excluded during processing.

New | Blackout Redactions | Users can now view both content and comments in an expanded cell modal by switching between two tabs, making it easier to access and navigate all available information within a single view. |
New | Blackout Redactions | Users are able to view multiple versions of a spreadsheet such as redacted versions, directly within the spreadsheet view, just like in the PDF view. When the native spreadsheet is loaded, additional redacted versions can also be displayed as needed. |
New | Document Explorer | Added a new functionality in the Document Explorer panel, allowing users to view all images within a document in one place. Users can click an image to navigate directly to its location in the document and perform redactions directly from the panel. |
New | File Types | Created APIs to return list of file signature types to the UI. |
New | Permissions | The permissions for viewing and interacting with Related Documents panels have been updated. All user roles now have the View Related Documents permission by default, which allows them to see the Related Documents panels in the document viewer. However, users will only be able to interact with or select items in these panels if they also have the appropriate Bulk Update permission. |
Update | Company Admin | Updated the UI so users are able to filter on additional columns within the Company Admin area. |
Update | Fields | Exolution Field Profile is no longer included by default in newly created projects. Existing projects remain unaffected. |
Update | Fields | The data type for the BD EMT Thread ID field has been changed from text to integer to ensure the sort function works as expected. |
Update | Login | The login process has been updated to comply with European Commission (EC) security standards. If a user closes the browser or is logged out due to inactivity, they will now be required to complete the full login process, including two-factor authentication (2FA), upon returning. This change includes updates to JWT and Keycloak token handling to ensure secure session management in accordance with EC requirements. |
Update | Mapping Fields | BatchID has been restored as a mappable and importable field during data processing. This update allows clients to map BatchID to EXPORTNAME, which enables to better track and organize document batches throughout the workflow. |
Update | Processing | The UI was updated to enhance the Excluded File Types capability to the Processing Project Settings and Processing Templates modals. The toggle switch was replaced with a dropdown offering two options: Exclude by Extension (a text input field is shown) and Exclude by Signature (opens a modal with selectable file signatures.) |
Update | Processing | Updated the deduplication logic to support Single Instance processing by ensuring that attachments from newly processed document families are not deduplicated against previously processed documents. |
Update | Reports | Updated the system to track each user’s total time spent within the application, including cases where the user closes the browser or their session expires. This allows for more accurate reporting of user activity, even if the user does not log out explicitly. |
Update | Settings | The System Settings page has been restructured to conditionally display settings based on feature flag status. Ethical Firewall settings will be visible only when the corresponding Split IO feature flag is enabled. When the flag is disabled, these settings are hidden. All other system settings are presented in a read-only format. |
Update | Settings | User settings for Text + Image Sets, now named Views, have been reorganized to better align with the buttons and controls in the interface. This update makes it clearer what each setting affects, helping users understand and configure their preferences more intuitively. |
