April 2024 Release Notes

New Search Experience–Launching Wednesday, May 8, 2024

We are excited to announce that a new search experience will be available to all our customers beginning Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The new search UI has been designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind–and it has delivered. Participants in the Beta program for this new experience have said things like:

To ensure that your transition to this new experience is seamless, we’ve put together some resources to get you started. First, we’ve created a tour of the new experience for you to step through before the release date to get a feel for what the new experience will look like. To take the tour, click here.

In addition, on launch day, May 8th, 2024 at 9:00 am PT/12:00 pm ET we are hosting a New Search Experience Demo and Q&A Session and Q&A Session that we would like to invite you to join. During this session you can expect a full feature demo, tips & tricks, and time for Q&A where you can get your questions answered. We look forward to seeing you there.

Improved Features

• 137038 (S9) Admin users and those with audit log special permissions are now able to view logs related to matter sharing in ILH. Specifically, we have added logs for

  • Share matter with a user

  • Change user permission

  • Remove a user

• 135525 (S7) We have removed duplicative metadata fields, Origin Folder and Related User List, from the search experience, to provide more clarity around what fields you're searching leading to more confidence in your results.

• 139258 (S9) We have improved the performance of the tagging feature in Onna making tagging more efficient.

• 131232 (S7) Users are now able to search characters (ex: ?, *) using a new search operator exact-extracted-text:

134580 (S7) When using filters users are now able to apply AND or OR logic to the participants field. Learn more about How to Use Filters

133674 (S7) You are now able to view all members of any of your matters and their associated permissions, by hovering over their initials in the ‘Shared with’ column on the main matters page.

• 137605 (S8) The issue causing some resources to delete from Onna almost immediately after syncing, due to mirrored retention policies, has been resolved.

• 135494 (S8) The issue leading to some Box enterprise sources to fail syncing has been resolved.

• 138265 (S8) The issue causing some Zoom syncs to fail has been resolved.

• 136069 (S 8) The issue causing some Microsoft Outlook Enterprise sources to fail syncing has been resolved.

• 127692 (S9) The issue where duplicate files are incorrectly being uploaded has been resolved.

• 139463 (S9) The issue causing a delay in showing the new name after an authorized connection has been renamed has been resolved and the new name will appear when it is changed.

• 131453 (S9) The issue where some files that have been processed are showing as unprocessed has been resolved.

Search

• 135583 (S7) The issue where an advanced search could not be completed when using an advanced search load template where fields had been removed has been resolved and a user may now search using a template even if they have removed some of the fields from the template.

• 63608 (S7) The issue leading to the ‘View details’ panel closing when viewing files in Onna and moving to a new file has been resolved and the ‘View details’ panel will now remain open when you navigate between files.

• 134483 (S7) The issue, when searching a term against the field ‘shared:’, leading to extraneous results has been resolved.

• 102096 (S9) The issue leading to an inability to search for custom fields that are ‘number’ type has been resolved.

• 139128 (S9) The issue where workspaces were returned if matching search criteria has been resolved. You will now see only resources returned. To search for a workspace you can use the workspace list, or filter for workspaces.

• 132116 (S9) The issue where clicking on a tag at the workspace level would not run a search has been resolved.

• 129667 (S9) The issue where searches including the OR operator are not returning expected results has been resolved.

• 134735 (S7) The issue causing some exports to retry indefinitely has been resolved.

• 138140 (S8) The issue causing some cloud transfers to fail has been resolved.

• 137478 (S8) The issue causing some exports to fail to generate has been resolved.

• 136402 (S8) The issue when exporting data from a Slack Enterprise source where the user name is being replaced by the user ID has been resolved.

• 136564 (S9) The issue causing cloud transfers to fail to start has been resolved.

• 136629 (S 9) The issue leading to a mismatch of dates in RSMF exports has been resolved.

Usage Metrics
