# Notifications

The Notifications tab allows you to set the Agency wide notifications for specific actions that occur. These Notifications are sent to every Agency Members by default. Members can override these notification settings within their own user profile.

## Notification Categories

| **Category** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| New Requests | Alerts Agency Members when a new request has been submitted |
| Messages | Alerts Agency Members when a new message has been submitted by the Requestor |
| Deadline Alerts | Alerts Agency Members when a request deadline is approaching |
| Mentions | Alerts Agency Members when a mention is created within the system |
