# Recommended ZIP software

Logikcull's recommended zip utilities for Windows and Mac operating systems

If you're required to ZIP a large file upload, a Production Upload, or re-combine a [spanned ZIP](https://support.logikcull.com/en/articles/3808691-recommended-zip-software#h_1c1c134fd1) into a single volume, Logikcull recommends one of the following utilities.

## Multi-part archives / spanned ZIPs

*Multi-part archives create multiple smaller sub-containers from one source (.z01, .z02, .z03). Spanned zip files (.z01, .z02, .z03) must be recombined into a single volume prior to uploading into Logikcull.*
