# What software does Logikcull use to process my data?

Logikcull uses proprietary and industry-standard tools to automate thousands of discovery tasks automatically.

We use Logikcull, of course! Logikcull is a proprietary software service handling the complete range of document discovery tasks, from uploads to downloads and everything in-between.

**i** There are various levels of [deduplication](/logikcull/docs/what-is-deduplication-and-how-does-it-work) and we use [Tesseract](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesseract_(software)) to OCR documents without text layer.

Logikcull incorporates a number of industry-standard software tools to complete its work, but the vast majority of Logikcull is custom build, proprietary software designed and built by us, for you.
