New | Approval Workflow | Organizations can now require approval before a Hold is issued. Administrators enable the approval gate in Subscription Settings and choose whether requestors select any eligible approver or one from a predefined approved list. A Hold submitted for approval becomes read-only in Pending Approval until the approver approves it, which issues or re-issues the Hold automatically, or rejects it with a mandatory comment. A centralized Approval Queue in Hold Management provides outstanding requests and a permanent Approval History, requestors can send reminders, reassign, or cancel a pending request, and all approval activity is captured in the Audit Trail. Approval applies to issuing and re-issuing a Hold; lifting a Hold is unchanged. |
New | Custom Fields | Administrators can create custom fields for Matters and Holds per subscription using Text, Numeric, Date, Dropdown, and Email field types, mark them required or optional, and organize them into groups that can be renamed and reordered. Custom Matter and Hold fields are available in Reports and the Reporting API, can be used as placeholders in Message Templates, and are included in Subscription Import/Export. |
