TRIAL DIRECTOR Release Notes 2024.10.0

IPRO Reveal is pleased to announce the 2024.10.0 release of TRIAL DIRECTOR. For instructions about how to upgrade to the latest version, see Workflow: Update TRIAL DIRECTOR.

• This release will upgrade previous versions of  TRIAL DIRECTOR.

New Features

Evidence/Presentation

• We’ve enhanced Image Creation. TrialDirector now uses the Open Discovery imaging technology to create images for office files.

  Note: Cases created in TrialDirector 2023.8.12 will not apply Batch Imaging to Microsoft Office Items. These are treated as legacy cases. To receive the benefits of Batch Imaging, after upgrading to 2024.10.0 – remove all Microsoft Office Items from the legacy case and re-add them. Once the Microsoft Office items are re-added to the legacy case, the user will have the option to Batch Image any newly added Microsoft Office items.

• The Playlist Report Wizard has been consolidated into a single screen for ease of use.

• Targeted batch imaging is now available.

Updated Features

• DESK-13112:Enterprise imaging functionality has been added to TrialDirector.

• DESK-13137:Enterprise imaging functionality has been added to Presentation.

Resolved Issues

• DESK-10145:When the “Blank Screen” command is utilized in Presentation Preview, user interaction with keystrokes along with drag & drop from Evidence explorers is disabled. Presentation Preview will no longer accept drag & drop events from any Evidence explorer. Additionally, the Presentation Preview key entry for Item IDs and commands will not work. All Hotkeys are also disabled.

• DESK-10239:Corrected error in email template for forgot password emails.

• DESK-12943:Placeholders were not being generated for files with four character extensions during QC Processing in Local Discovery.

• DESK-3651:Clicking the undo and redo buttons in Present Review would cause the system to lock up and require the application to be restarted.
