The Playlist Work Area allows you to work with individual clips. To open the Playlist Work Area, select a playlist from the Playlists Explorer and click the Open Playlist in Work Area button in the Playlists Explorer right-click context menu. The Playlist Work Area appears with the selected playlist populated inside.
The following actions and fields are available for the clip:
Ribbon Bar
Action | Definition | ||
Create Playlist | Opens a blank work area where you can drag and drop clips and create a new playlist. | ||
Add Clip | When clicked, the Add Clips to Playlist dialog appears. You can select the clips to add to the playlist and then click the Save button in the dialog. The clips are then added to the playlist. | ||
Add Multimedia | When clicked, the Add Media to Playlist dialog appears. You can select the multimedia or multimedia clips to add to the playlist and then click the Save button in the dialog. The multimedia is then added to the playlist. | ||
Remove | To remove a clip from a playlist, in the work area, select a clip. Click the Remove button. A confirmation dialog appears. After you click Yes, the clip is removed from the playlist. | ||
Play | Plays a playlist from the beginning. | ||
Play Clip | Plays the playlist using the selected clip as the starting point. | ||
Move Up | Moves the selected clip up in the playlist order. | ||
Move Down | Moves the selected clip down in the playlist order. | ||
Save | Saves any changes made to the playlist.

Cancel | Cancels any changes made to the playlist. | ||
Close | Closes the work area. |
