# TRIAL DIRECTOR Release Notes 2025.3.0

IPRO Reveal is pleased to announce the 2025.3.0 release of TRIAL DIRECTOR. For instructions about how to upgrade to the latest version, see [Workflow: Update TRIAL DIRECTOR](/trial-director/docs/workflow-update-trial-director).

## Important Notes

- This release will upgrade previous versions of TRIAL DIRECTOR.

## New Features

- Workbooks have been enhanced to refresh Automatically.
- The Multimedia Tab has been added to the default layout.
- The Document Re-Sequencer has been improved to allow users to move items up or down.
- You now have the ability to name multimedia items as they are added to Evidence.

## Updated Features

- **DESK-13407** - The Open Case buttons in Evidence and Case Management have been modified to enhance uniformity.
- **DESK-13327** - Advanced color options similar to those found in Presentation are now available for Evidence annotations.
- **DESK-13323** - The Exhibit Label Designer has been enhanced by incorporating an option for positioning at the top (left/center/right).
- **DESK-13320** - The option “Create Case Name Folder” has been added to the standard configuration and will be checked by default.
- **DESK-13401** - Updates have been implemented to maintain a uniform arrangement of workbooks between the Evidence Workbooks Explorer and the Presentation Workbooks Navigator.
- **DESK-13402** - Ability to export Preferences to a Config. file which can be imported into other cases.
- **DESK-13190** - When a transcript is text only, the Media player and Synchronized Exhibit Preview will be hidden by default.

## Resolved Issues

- **DESK-12706** - OLL Imports Containing Documents with Apostrophes Do Not Import. If an OLL file cannot be imported, a toast error message will appear with the information.
