Upgrading from Brainspace 7.x
IMPORTANT
Before upgrading, you are strongly encouraged to perform a manual backup of your data.
To make upgrades faster and easier, the Brainspace 7 backup process has been decoupled from the upgrade process. In previous versions of Brainspace, the upgrade script automatically backed up your data. This is no longer the case. Proceeding without a manual backup could result in unrecoverable data loss if the upgrade encounters issues.

Upgrading from Brainspace 6.x
You will first need to install Brainspace 7.1, and then migrate your 6.x instances. This information is detailed in the articles below:
