Description

New

Selective Sets

Introduced MD5 Hash as an additional option within the File ID settings.

Update

Export

Updated the interface so users can view 10 or more items at a time when choosing data imports, custodians, keyword groups, selective sets, and other criteria. The same improvement applies to Export Scope Modifiers.

Additionally, the settings layout was enhanced  so users can either view settings in the same tab or open new tabs for different sections, providing more space and flexibility when configuring an export set.

Fix

Export

Addressed an issue that caused export failures when a document’s Source value exceeded 50 characters. The Collection Sources column has now been expanded to 500 characters to support longer Source values.

Fix

Export

Fixed an issue with Dedupe Scopes where project-level duplicates that had not been previously exported were not being deduplicated.

Fix

Export

Fixed an issue where exported RSMF families did not have the master date and time populated as expected.

Fix

Export

Corrected an issue where the distributed download job threw an exception in the Add To CSV method. The process now properly handles case-sensitive document values when adding entries to the CSV.

Fix

Export

Fixed an issue where Overlay exports failed to generate a load file even after completing successfully, producing only the Natives and Text folders.

Fix

Export

An issue where Export Summary statistics were incorrect when the imported data included chat content was resolved. Summary stats now accurately reflect the configured export job, and the total documents count correctly matches the number of documents included in the export.

Fix

Export

Corrected an error where documents exported using the HTML Native option were missing the required HTML header.

Fix

Export

Updated the MHT email export to prevent the email body from starting on a new page when printed. The body now appears directly after the email headers and attachment list on the first page.

Fix

Export

Improved performance of the ExportService by optimizing the SQL used in the TotalDocCount. Export jobs now run faster and are less likely to time out.

Fix

Export

Corrected an issue where RSMF child attachment documents would not display in the same order as they appear in the parent 24-hour chunk document.

Fix

Export

Fixed an issue where embedded items in PowerPoint presentations would not extract.

Fix

Export

Resolved an issue where NSF exports were running into errors. All files, including natives, text, and records in the load file, are now correctly included and accounted for.

Fix

Import

Fixed an issue where MSG/Outlook data containing PNG or JPG attachments was not being treated as project files.

Fix

Import

Fixed an issue where parsing AD1 forensic image files sometimes produced errors, even for valid files.

Fix

Import

Corrected an issue where RSMF imports remained stuck in “In Progress” or “Finalizing” status. Imports with RSMF files now complete as expected.

Fix

Import

Fixed an issue where the Custodian Folder Leveling option was not functioning as intended.

Fix

Imaging

Corrected an issue in the Imaging module where the Environment pie chart continued to display all documents as Pending even after the imaging job was completed.

Fix

Image CQ

Fixed a bug in PDF Imaging preview where the error “The requested range is not satisfiable” was shown when navigating from Show Images > Show Text. This error would occur only when switching from Image view to Text view.

Fix

OCR Settings

Fixed an error where OCR settings, including OCR Mode and OCR Index Errors, would not be preserved after an upgrade.

Fix

OCR

Addressed an issue where OCR job results (successful and errored documents) were not accurately reflected in the Environment menu and Project Snapshot.

Fix

Processing

Corrected an error where password-protected Excel files weren’t being properly decrypted during processing.

Fix

Processing

Addressed an issue where jobs would stay stuck in a pending state and showed inconsistent status messages or machine assignments in Processing.

Fix

Project Settings

Fixed an issue where the “By Extension” file type filter wasn’t being retained when applying a Project Settings template. The filter incorrectly defaulted to “By Signature,” and the saved extensions like .png or .jpg, only appeared after manually switching back to “By Extension.”

Fix

Projects

Fixed an issue where a project's database was not removed when the project was deleted. The database now deletes as expected.

Fix

Reporting

Fixed an issue where project names containing a single quote (') caused the Consolidated Billing Scripts Report to throw a fatal error.

Fix

Reporting

Addressed an issue where generating the Consolidated Billing Report for all projects would fail when project names exceeded 50 characters. The report now generates correctly regardless of project name length.

Fix

Selective Sets

Fixed an issue where underscores in Selective Sets were being treated as wildcards. The underscores in the Import Path search now function as literal characters.

Fix

Templates

Resolved some display issues affecting the Template dropdown and Global checkbox when viewing previously created exports. After reopening a project, the selected template name was missing, and project-level templates incorrectly showed the Global checkbox as selected.

Template names now display correctly for both project and global templates, and the Global checkbox reflects the respective selection. Once an export is created, the template name and Global checkbox remain visible but disabled, as expected.

Fix

Templates

Resolved an issue where the saved Email Dedupe Fields in the Processing Template displayed incorrect values.

Fix

Templates

Fixed an issue where the Native Email File Type parameter was not respected in uploads from the front-end. When a processing template was configured with Native Email File Type set to MHT, uploads using the Upload + Process + Promote To Review workflow were incorrectly exporting emails as MSG instead of MHT.
