Export

A new export metadata field has been added titled 'Document Date'. This date uses the same hierarchy for population as 'Master Date' but differs in that it DOES NOT pass values down to children. This provides a single date field that consolidates the available dates within a given document to a single value.

Date Hierarchy populated by the first non blank value in this order:

1. Date Sent

2. Date Received

3. Application Modified Date

4. Application Created Date

5. File System Modified Date

6. File System Created Date

Export

Search functionality has been added to Export Explorer > Export Settings JSON in Discovery Manager to simplify finding specific settings from historic export jobs.

The 'Live Data Overlay Export' box is available when configuring a 'Review (Append)' and 'Parent/Child' export types. By checking this box the associated 'Review (Overlay)' or 'Overlay' job will be created after the initial export automatically and submitted. This prevents the need for the user to manually create the overlay job and submit after the initial export completes.

Information about Short Message counts have been added to the Export Summary within Discovery Manager. This helps to get a better understanding of the export document counts when 24 hour chunking is applied to Short Message data types such as Teams and RSMF at export.

An additional filter option is now available under Selective Sets > File Properties > Imaging/PDF Status to allow filtering based on converted image page counts.

RSMF values exported in the CONVERSATION and CONVERSATIONID fields are now propagated to all members of a family.

The 'Processing Monthly Report' had no default sorting order that could make results difficult to read. To ensure the reporting is easier to understand, a default sort order has been applied based on the job import dates in ascending order.

An API endpoint change prevented the 'Ran Analytics Immediately' feature from working as intended. This has been updated to be applied as expected.

Embedded image attachments within Teams chats were not rendered in the native 24 chunk output. A correction has been made so that these images are displayed inline within the conversation as expected.

Messages found within chat renderings could span outside the chat bubble. Word wrapping has been introduced to better ensure this text is contained within the text bubble.

When a template was generated with a placeholder rule, subsequent exports could generate all images as placeholders not adhering to the scope set by the rule. This has been corrected to following the configuration of the rule.

In certain zoom and resolutions buttons could become inaccessible within the Selective Set area. This has been adjusted so that more variations of resolution and zoom are supported.

An issue was encountered when using the 'Export to Review' Export Behavior when configuring an Import Job within Discovery Manager where the selected field list did not populate the list of fields. This has been corrected so that the fields associated with the selected list are displayed.

A malformed Field Mapping could be generated when updating Field Mapping in Review Manager. Improved validation has been introduced for Field Mapping validation to ensure the list is correct and up to date with any changes.

The 'Document Level' checkbox was not immediately available to check when selecting the Overlay and Review (Overlay) export types, this has been updated to become accessible.

In certain situations exported natives for MSG emails could be missing embedded images represented by a red X even when these were present in the source MSG. This has been corrected so that they exported native reflects the original and embedded images are accounted for.

Project created with the prerender emails option enabled and using the ProcessingToReviewECA mapping in a Review(Append) export could result in the emails reporting as pending in the job status of the export. Better logic has been implemented to ensure the status is properly reported in this situation.

Source data paths containing apostrophe's could result in failure at export time. Improvement's have been introduced to prevent export failure when an apostrophe is present in the source path.

Overlay exports containing the 'RelativePathParent' field could output with no values and result in export errors. This has been improved so that the values are properly included in the overlay and the export job is completed successfully.

Review (Overlay) jobs could run into errors when selecting all fields for overlay. Improved resiliency has been added to ensure these jobs complete as expected.

When exports are configured that will result in 0 exported documents, a warning is now displayed when the job is being submitted from the summary window to indicate that no documents will be exported allowing the user to cancel or update export criteria as needed.

When configuring an Imaging job, selecting the 'PowerPoint' Imaging Exclusion option would not remove the associated settings tab to match the behavior of selecting 'Excel'. This has been updated so that the associated options tab is removed for configuration as intended.

After running an imaging job and accessing the results in Image QC, the top level 'Image QC' category could show 0 errors when there were categories underneath reporting errors. Logic has been improved to properly reflect the sum of the categories underneath the 'Image QC' bucket.

Parent / Child exports containing Tiff images could result in error. This has been updated to export the Tiff images as expected and complete the job.

In certain example RSMF files Import jobs could fail to complete without using job recovery when using the MAPI email processing engine and resulting in differing counts compared to using the Aspose email engine. A modification to the loading of EML files for RSMF was introduced to resolve this issue allowing the job to complete without intervention and result in extraction counts in line with the Aspose email engine.

Certain example RSMF files experienced a SQLDateTime Overlow exceptions or could result in duplicative task entries and the possibility of missing natives. Improvements have been made to both Aspose and MAPI email engines to prevent these types of issues during import jobs.

Certain exports containing RSMF data could result in vague errors not tied to any specific files. An update has been made to better associate with the file ID that the error is associated with and ensure the export is able to continue.

Excessive file locking could cause extraction from OST containers to take longer than it should. Improvements have been introduced to prevent file locks when unnecessary and perform as expected.

Attachment identification in Teams messages was not properly identifying and extracting attachments when utilizing the Aspose email engine. An update has been introduced to ensure that these attachments are being extracted when present.

In certain conditions, RSMF files text may have not been extracted as expected. Better handling has been introduced to ensure extraction is performed.

Date filtering using the 'Between' configuration were not being properly evaluated with the end date being seen as less than rather than less than or equal to. This handling has been updated to appropriately consider the entire configured range as intended.

Encrypted Word, PowerPoint, Excel and PDF files were not decrypting when provided with the correct password in project's password list. This has been resolved to decrypt these files as expected.

There were instances encountered where the Aspose email engine would be unable to fully extract from specific PST examples compared to MAPI. Additionally a visual issue could be encountered when using the Aspose email engine resulting in expected child count values to be consistently off by 2. Both situations have been addressed to ensure full extraction and properly report expected child count values.

Teams chat were not being properly converted to the 24 hour chunking format and instead were output as individual MSG files. This has been corrected so that the 24 hour chunks are rendered as intended.

In some situations Teams data found within a PST may be missing properties needed to identify and handle as chat. When these properties are not present, the Teams data will be handled as email so that what is available can be processed instead of failing entirely.

OCR was failing to gather text from PDF/A documents. Text is not generated via OCR as expected.

In a very rare occurrence, a large CSV containing email information could be identified as email data resulting in a crash of Discovery Manager. Improved handling has been introduced to further identify files before handling as email, properly handling as the actual file type and preventing crashes.

When ScanPST was used in Import QC, the associated PST could be deleted from Application Managed Storage inadvertently. Improved handling has been introduced to ensure the source PST is not deleted from storage.

In certain examples of Teams containers, every single message was given this ZERO KB QC flag when using the Aspose email engine. This has been corrected so that these items are not reported with a ZERO KB flag.

When Automate ScanPST was used the replacement PST could fail to copy to the expected project path. This has been addressed so that the PST is placed in the project path as expected.

The Project Snapshot could erroneously report OCR tasks as pending even after the OCR job has completed successfully. This chart has been updated to reflect the actual status.

Query logic for the search box within the Enterprise > Processing > Entity Management > Custodians was not correctly returning results for custodians. This has been updated to properly return results matching the values entered into the search box.

Custodian doc count tables across the Discovery Manager UI could show incorrect counts when archives were present in the dataset versus what could actually be promoted. The logic gathering this information has been updated to properly report actual doc counts.

The Text Processing area of the Snapshot of a selected project in Discovery Manager was not displaying the legend associated with the graph information. This has been corrected.

When processing Teams data and using the Aspose email engine, reports generated were not properly reflecting 'MS Teams Entry' values for these file types. Reporting has been updated to properly reflect these file counts and sizes.

While configuring search criteria for Domains within a Selective Set, it was possible to find domain values that were filtered based on date criteria to still display counts until the selective set query was actually run. Logic has been improved to not display counts of this criteria in the configuration and properly reflecting the filtered state.

In certain situations where files have no extension these values could be populated with erroneous values within Selective Set preview. This has been corrected so that these values are empty within Selective Set preview as expected.

An issue was introduced causing file extensions to not be recognized when using that criteria for scoping of a Selective Set. This has been resolved so that results are returned as expected.

When editing the name of a Selective Set, the newly created name was note actually saved. This has been corrected so that the edit is applied as intended.

In certain situations the 'Add to Selective Set' and 'Run Search' button's could be cutoff preventing the user from being able to click the buttons. Corrections have been made to keep these buttons accessible at more resolution and zoom configurations.

An issue was encountered were multiple people trying to access a Selective Set Preview at the same time that would only allow one person visibility. Improvements have been made so that multiple users are able to return results of the same Selective Set in a preview at the same time.

Within a Selective Set preview, field values for 'Index Status', 'Text Extraction' and 'QC Flag Category' were displaying number values instead of readable text. The 'Extension' field would display incorrect information when the true value was blank. Updates have been made to display the proper values in these fields.

Export Templates containing the 'Promote To Review' de-duplication scope were not able to be saved. This has been resolved and this scope is able to be saved as part of the template configuration.

Export templates could be saved without providing a name value resulting in a blank template selection label. The Export Template name is now a required value to ensure a label descriptor is available when selecting.

Global and Project level export templates were not appropriately saving fields for Review Overlay export types. This has been updated to work as intended.
