Overview of Key Features

Content marked with an asterisk ( * ) is Feature Flagged. These features are included in this release but currently turned off by default. It will not appear in your environment unless it is manually enabled by Reveal. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you’d like to learn more or request access.

  • aji*

    • The Suggested Work Folders have moved out of the main Work Folders tab into a dedicated Generative AI Review section. Users can search or delete these suggested folders, and control visibility through the Managed Narrative AI Review permission—turning it on or off enables or disables the entire section.

  • Cloud AI

    • You can now view the estimated character count for a translation job before submitting it. This gives users a clearer insight into job size and helps with planning and cost estimation.

    • For transcription tasks, the system will calculate and display the total duration of all media files prior to submission. This provides an accurate minute count for the content to be transcribed. If any documents have not yet been indexed, a warning message will appear to ensure users are made aware.

    • A new Stop functionality has been added across supported cloud job types, including Translation, Transcription, and Image Labeling, allowing active jobs to be halted mid-process. This prevents unnecessary resource consumption and ensures accurate billing. When a job is stopped, all billing metrics (e.g., word/character counts, processed items, and processing time) are calculated only up to the point of stoppage.

  • Grid

    • The interface has been updated to deliver a more consistent and intuitive search experience. Selecting ID fields from the search bar now opens the same modal used when accessing filters directly from the grid, creating a unified workflow.

    • A new “Is in List” filtering option has also been added, allowing users to copy and paste, type, or upload a list of ID values. This makes it easier to filter grid data by multiple IDs at once.

  • Reports

    • To help admins monitor reviewer activity, the system now tracks general user actions at 5-minute intervals—including navigation, searching, folder creation, bulk actions, scrolling, key down events, and mouse movement—to provide a more accurate Last Activity timestamp for each session. A new User Activity event is generated whenever activity is detected after 5 minutes of inactivity and is logged for all users across all projects.

    • The User Login Report now tracks First Name, Last Name, and Email, with the ability to sort by each field.

    • The system has been updated to support selecting the time zone users want to associate with each report. Time zone configurations have been added to the User Actions Report and the User Login Report headers, with the default set to (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time. All date- and time-based filtering and display within these reports now honor the selected time zone.

    • A new Teams dropdown is available in the User Login Report, listing all teams in the project and showing the number of users for each team. The dropdown also includes a quick filter for searching teams by partial text match and allows selecting or deselecting all teams.

  • Export Screen Layout in Discovery Manager

    • The interface in the Export Screen Layout has been updated to show more items at once, making it easier to see and access information without excessive scrolling, especially on smaller screens.

Translation Job

Added a new “Stop” functionality for Translation jobs. This allows jobs to be halted after they start, helping prevent wasted resources and avoiding incorrect billing. Added the ability to preview the total media duration for a transcription job before submission, providing an accurate count of minutes to be transcribed. Once the calculation completes, the total duration is displayed. A warning message also appears for any documents that haven’t been indexed.

Time Zone Changes

Time zone configurations have been added to the User Actions Report and the User Login Report headers. The default selection is (UTC) Coordinated Universal Time. All date- and time-based filtering and display within the report now honor the selected time zone. For example, when filtering for a specific day using “Hawaii Time,” the report will display only those actions that occurred within that 24-hour period according to Hawaii Time.

Updated the system to track general user activity every 5 minutes—based on actions such as navigating the grid, searching,  creating folders, bulk actions, scrolling, or general mouse movement—to provide an accurate “Last Activity” timestamp for each session. A UI issue in the Brain Explorer window where it opened in a fixed-size, non-movable rectangle with the close button missing was fixed. The underlying Concept window that was cut can now also be accessed properly without excessive scrolling or zooming.

The “Created Date” and “Last Modified Date” values in Date grouping within Document Explorer were incorrect, even though individual redaction dates were correct. Now the two top-level values accurately reflect the corresponding redaction.

Fixed an issue where the Work Folders and Notes fields could not be added to the Field Profile. After adding these to the fields, Work Folders and Notes would not appear in the Grid View or in the Manage Field Profile screen, even though it appeared in the Project Admin screen.

In the Hit Reports module, field values were not updating correctly in the Grid when “Overwrite with new results” was selected. This issue was specific to overwriting single values in a field and did not affect fields with multiple values. Additionally, editing a Hit Report would clear the search terms. Both bugs have now been resolved.
