Overview of Key Features

Content marked with an asterisk ( * ) is Feature Flagged. These features are included in this release but currently turned off by default. It will not appear in your environment unless it is manually enabled by Reveal. Contact your Customer Success Manager if you’d like to learn more or request access.

  • Blackout: Partial Redactions

    It’s now possible to expand a cell into a modal view to read its full content and any associated comments. From within this expanded view, users can perform partial redactions directly on the cell’s content. Once changes are saved, the redactions are immediately reflected in the main grid.

  • Time Zone changes

    Users can now customize how time is displayed across the application by selecting their preferred time zone in the “Language + Regions” section of system Settings. Once a time zone is chosen—timestamps in standardized tables displaying job or action information (such as Archives), the Assignments table, and the “Last Built” values for Build Document Folders and Rebuild Document Data—will automatically adjust to reflect the selected time zone instead of UTC, providing a more localized experience.

  • Processing grid and ECA grid Text View*

    Documents can be viewed directly within the application in the Processing Grid and ECA grid, without needing to perform an export. Users can run a search, narrow down their results, and click on a document to instantly access its text content in the new viewer.

  • Default Project View

    During the project creation process, view settings will by automatically set to standard. The Default View under Settings > Views is automatically set to Native PDF View, and the Text Set Display option defaults to Native View. These settings eliminate the need for manual configuration and reduce setup time.

Blackout Redactions

A new “Extract Children” project setting has been added to the Processing configuration; when this setting is unchecked, no extraction will occur during import, leaving all files, including embedded objects and attachments, the same as imported.

The side-by-side document preview feature is now available in the Processed Files grid under the Processing section and in the ECA grid. It allows users to view documents on the right side of the screen without leaving the current page, while maintaining existing functionality in the Review Grid.

Review Manager

Users attempting to delete a company in the Review Manager will now see an error message if the company has associated clients, while companies without associated clients can be deleted successfully.

Time Zone

Users can now set their preferred time zone in "Language + Regions" section of the system Settings, so all dates and times across the application—including timestamps in standardized tables displaying job or action information (such as Archives), the Assignments table, and the “Last Built” values for Build Document Folders and Rebuild Document Data—are displayed in the chosen time zone instead of UTC.

Default Project Views

Updated the default project configuration so that new projects automatically apply standard view settings. When a new project is created, the Default View under Settings > Views is now set to “Native PDF View,” and the Text Set Display option is automatically set to “Native View.”

Updated the header information in native rendering for Teams and RSMF to accurately reflect all participants in the conversation, not just those active within a specific 24-hour slice. The “People” count and participant list in the header now include everyone in the chat.

De-duplication scopes have been updated to remove duplicates within the current job as well as from previous exports.

The “Language” field has been removed from the “Edit User” and “Create User” modals to eliminate confusion, as the application’s language is controlled only in the project-level settings.

Resolved export errors for MIMEOUTLOOKEML files in MAPI projects when using MHT as the native output type. The files are now properly handled, converted to MTH format, and processed with native generation and text extraction as expected.

Addressed an issue where production jobs failed due to unimageable MSG files. Now, the job either successfully images the MSG or logs it as an error while allowing the rest of the production job to complete.

An issue where the Profile column sorting was not functioning correctly in the Saved Search modal was resolved.

Resolved an issue where instance or company admins were unable to view documents in the grid when Document Level Security was enabled, resulting in a “No Results” message despite available documents.
