Overview of Key Features
Retention Policies - Choose Between Source Date and Onna Ingest Date
Retention policies in Onna can now be configured to delete Onna's copy of content based on the resource's own creation date at the source, rather than only the date it was added to Onna. Previously, all retention policies calculated the retention window from Onna's ingest timestamp — which meant "delete after 3 years" measured three years from when Onna collected the item, not three years from when it was actually created or sent. For backfilled or historical data sources, those two dates can differ by years, so this distinction matters for accurate records-retention compliance.
When configuring a policy, admins now select which date basis applies. The source-creation-date option is only offered for data source types where the connector reliably provides that date and where it isn't available, the option is disabled with an explanation. Existing policies are unaffected and continue to use the Onna ingest date by default. As with all retention policies, legal hold still takes precedence, and only Onna's copy is affected — source data is not.
Source Hold Creation - Connector Sources Now Grouped by Product
When selecting sources for a Source Hold, several connectors — including Zoom, Okta, Google Cloud Storage, OneDrive, Workplace, Miro, and Gemini — previously all appeared merged under a single heading in the source picker, making it impossible to tell which sources belonged to which connector. Each of these connectors now appears as its own labeled node with its sources listed underneath.

Skip Unresolved Ingestion Exceptions Directly from the Sync Status Modal
When a data source has unresolved ingestion exceptions, a details icon now appears on the Ingestion bar in the Sync Status modal. Clicking it opens the exceptions list, where each item links back to its original location at the source (where available), and users with source-edit permissions can now skip an exception directly — self-service, without needing support intervention. A confirmation step appears before an exception is skipped.

Release Details Table
Internal Reference ID | Type | Category | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
ONNA-5431 | Update | Administration | Admins can now choose whether a retention policy's date basis is the source's creation date or the Onna ingest date, with the option restricted to supported connector types and validated server-side. |
ONNA-4199 | Update | Connect & Collect | Added a Skip Ingestion action to the Sync Exceptions modal, allowing users with source-edit permissions to skip unresolved ingestion exceptions after a confirmation prompt. A details icon now appears on the Ingestion bar when a data source has unresolved exceptions, and exception rows link to the origin-system record when available. |
ONNA-5171 | Update | Connect & Collect | Added support for Atlassian service accounts on the Jira connector, alongside existing classic token support. Service account data sources can be created and renewed, with syncs correctly enumerating projects, paging issues, and downloading attachments. |
ONNA-5172 | Update | Connect & Collect | Added support for Atlassian service accounts on the Confluence connector. Service account data sources can be created and renewed, the space picker lists spaces for scoped tokens, and syncs read spaces, content, comments, and versions while downloading attachments through the gateway. |
ONNA-5338 | Fix | Connect & Collect | Document viewer next/previous navigation arrows no longer disappear after a page reload or deep link where no sibling documents exist, the arrows now remain visible but disabled instead of being removed. |
ONNA-5587 | Fix | Connect & Collect | Sources from Zoom, Okta, Google Cloud Storage, OneDrive, Workplace, Miro, and Gemini now appear as separate, correctly labeled nodes in the Source Hold source picker instead of being grouped under a single "Datasource" heading. |
ONNA-5572 | Fix | Connect & Collect | The Done button on the Zoom collection channel-selection step is now disabled while channels are loading, preventing collections from being created with no channels selected. "Sync all channels" remains available throughout the load. |
ONNA-5360 | Fix | Search | Saved searches now correctly display their underlying query in the "View query" option. |
