Recommended Actions to Take

Prev Next

The following table presents a list of fixed bugs that have been identified as requiring a specific follow-up action by the user after it was resolved. If you encountered any of the below bugs, follow the steps in the Actions to Take column as instructed.

This list will be updated with every new release and patch release, if necessary. All actions to take will be purged from the list after six months from the fix version’s release date.

RENT-23889

2026.5 6.23

6/23/2026

Document Review

Resolved an issue where the X (Clear Selection) button in the document grid selection popup was unresponsive to clicks and did not clear documents selected via checkboxes. The selection now clears as expected.

Clear browser cache after updating.

RENT-23946

2026.5 6.23

6/23/2026

Export

Resolved an issue where OCR/text output files in Production Image Set exports exposed original unredacted content despite redactions being correctly applied to the exported images. Text output now reflects applied redactions.

Re-run production.

PROC-8779

2026.5 6.18

6/18/2026

Processing

Resolved an issue so that processing email exports (dupes or originals) properly export the rendered native path for generated emails – and for loose emails if “format loose emails” is turned on in export settings – and not the original native path.

Re-export affected exports or overlay natives.

PROC-8653

2026.5 5.10

6/10/2026

Export

Fixed an issue where the Export Summary modal displayed 0 documents for Overlay Export in parent-child export scenarios, even when the dataset was correctly assigned to the Custodian and contained documents.

Re-submit the Overlay export.

PROC-8633

2026.5 5.10

6/10/2026

Import

Fixed a bug where import jobs would fail for large datasets due to a SQL truncation error stating: “String or binary data would be truncated.”

Delete import job and re-import to prevent further error or re-process failed data via Import QC.

PROC-8688

2026.5

6/1/2026

Reveal Upload Manager

Fixed an issue where Metadata Preservation was not applied for certain datasets when using Reveal Upload Manager. In some cases, import jobs encountered errors due to specific filenames within a dataset, preventing Metadata Preservation from being applied as expected. When a specific file encounters an error, it is now logged individually and processing continues for the remaining files in the dataset.

Re-upload data to correct or manually update via overlay.

PROC-8429

2026.5

6/1/2026

Import

Fixed an issue where email addresses were missing in the OCR/LOADED text view for MSG files using the Aspose email engine.

Delete and re-import of source data.

RENT-22103

2026.5

6/1/2026

Production

Resolved an issue where the Production Job page count was incorrect when producing from a loaded PDF set. The Production Jobs screen and Load File now correctly reflect the actual page count of the selected PDF set.

Re-run the production job in order to see the proper page counts

PROC-8432

2026.5

6/1/2026

Export

Corrected an issue where Australian numbering did not follow a sequential order based on the selected prefix.

Re-export the documents so they’re properly numbered.

PROC-8337

2026.5

6/1/2026

Import

Fixed a bug where import jobs would immediately fail with the error “There is already an object named ‘Import1’ in the database.” Import jobs are now processed normally without triggering this error.

Re-submit a new import job.

PROC-8308

2026.5

6/1/2026

Export

Fixed a bug where the Document Level checkbox did not behave correctly when switching export types. When the export type is changed to Review Append, the Document Level checkbox is now automatically unchecked and becomes unavailable. When switching back to an export type that supports Document Level, normal behavior is restored, allowing the user to explicitly select or deselect the option.

Delete the previous Review (Append) exports that were inadvertently ran with the “document level” check box and re-exported to correct.

PROC-8190

2026.5

6/1/2026

Import

Improved RSMF processing performance and throughput, making processing faster, more efficient, and better able to scale as project sizes grow.

RSMF’s that have run into problems extracting during import can either be re-imported or re-processed via Import QC to attempt further extraction.

This may not resolve all cases, so users should continue reporting issues for further improvements and support.

RENT-23499

2026.5

6/1/2026

Indexing

Fixed an issue where search-based web indexing jobs would report an incorrect total document count, resulting in inaccurate job progress percentages.

Re-index to get the right counts and percentages.

PROC-8540

2026.3 5.29

5/29/2026

Export

Fixed an issue where the File Name field displayed the full file path instead of only the file name when import paths contained underscore characters, despite correct field mappings configured in Discovery Manager.

Re-export or overlay the File Name field for any records impacted prior to this fix.

PROC-8611

2026.3 5.29

5/29/2026

Reveal Upload Manager

Resolved an issue where OS date fields were not updated from the metadata preservation CSV during upload via Reveal Upload Manager.

Re-upload or re-import affected data via Reveal Upload Manager to apply corrected OS date field values.

RENT-23444

2026.3 5.29

5/29/2026

Uploads

Fixed an issue that would cause large OPT/LFP uploads to fail intermittently when processing very high page volumes through the Browser upload method. In some cases, users would see downstream errors such as “File not found” or failed document processing after upload completion.

Retry the image upload through the web browser.

RENT-23313

2026.3 5.21

5/21/2026

Indexing

Increased the indexing timeout window to 60 minutes to better support longer-running jobs. Jobs are now only treated as “stuck” if no activity is received within 60 minutes. Also, the handling of video file extension settings was improved so files without extensions are no longer mistakenly identified as video files.

For the indexing timeout, re-index Spreadsheets or Native PDFs.

PROC-8549

2026.3 5.18

5/18/2026

Export

Fixed an issue where imported attachment documents would receive incorrect Master Dates that did not match their parent documents.

In Discovery Manager, re-export or overlay of the master date field.

In Review Enterprise, re-index the updated documents.

PROC-8422

2026.3 5.5

5/5/2026

Export

Fixed an issue where RSMF attachments not present within the 24-hour chunk were incorrectly included in the 24-hour chunk family.

Delete previous imports processing RSMF and re-import.

PROC-8068

2026.3 5.1

5/1/26

Import

Fixed a bug where Master Date values were not consistently populated across 24-hour chunks for RSMF when archives were present in chat events. This would lead to incorrect date filtering results in Selective Sets.

Either delete and re-import the data, or QC the data to start reprocessing.

PROC-8409

2026.3 5.1

5/1/26

Export

An issue where RSMF messages were incorrectly added to 24-chunk message boards during export was resolved. Message boards now correctly include only messages within the same 24-hour chunk and conversation.

Re-run the export or create a new overlay export with the native path selected to ensure the correct native file is applied to the existing document.

RENT-19675

2026.3 5.1

5/1/26

Export

Updated email rendering to ensure consistency between Native View (PDF) and Outlook, and improved metadata handling so the sender’s name is displayed correctly instead of just the domain.

Re-index the affected files.

RENT-22673

2026.3 5.1

5/1/26

Document Viewer

Fixed a bug where email (.msg) files rendered differently in Native View compared to Image View, causing attachments to not display within the email.

Re-index the affected files.

RENT-23900

2026.5 7.8

7/8/2026

Fields

Increased the Elasticsearch facetability size limit from 400 to 10,240 characters and aligned the File Name field maximum length to 10,240 characters. Text fields with a maximum length of up to 10,240 characters, including Email Subject, are now mapped as facetable, enabling the “Is” operator and tally exports without TermFacet errors or empty result sets while ensuring the File Name field conforms to the supported facetable limit.

Delete index and re-index

RENT-23785

2026.5 7.8

7/8/2026

Export

Fixed an issue where searchable PDF production exports generated PDFs in which only the Bates numbers were searchable. The exported PDFs now preserve searchable text content throughout the document as expected.

Re-run productions.
