Overview of Key Features
Upload Workflow Enhancements
Within the Upload workflow, the actions to Upload, Process, and Promote are now distinct steps within the web browser.
The Upload action will transfer your data to a temporary bucket within your S3 storage, which remains accessible to you.
The Process only action allows users to browse their S3 temporary storage bucket and process data, or directly process data that’s already uploaded to the web. Process only will hold data in Discovery Manager for QC work. Additionally, you can automate processing and export to review using the workflow option Process + Promote.
The Promotion only action enables users to browse existing imports and select any entry to review, allowing users to move data from the web directly into a review project after it has undergone QC in Discovery Manager.
Additionally, individual file uploads are now supported as part of these enhancements.

The Document Explorer retains existing functionality, including filtering and deletion, while annotations and redactions are saved in real-time as they are added. | Yes | No |

Update | Project Settings | Users can now favorite a project directly from the Project Overview page by selecting the star icon next to the project. | Yes | No |
Update | Field Profile | The Collection Location and Collection Source fields are now multi-value and support the maximum character limit. This change applies only to new projects. | Yes | No |
Update | Project Settings | Verbiage around the options to enable SHA-256 hash generation has been updated to properly display and to clarify to the user that this value is not used for de-duplication purposes. | Yes | No |
Update | Ask | Expanded language support in the Ask feature to include Dutch, allowing users to generate text partitions in this language. | Yes | No |
New | Data Loading | There is now the ability to upload delimited files to perform new data loading or data overlays via the new centralized web-based Uploader, either with or without new native renderings. Highlights of this workflow include support for DAT, CSV or TXT. Currently, we support both CSV and concordance delimiters when uploading through the web. | No | Yes |
New | Data Loading | You can now upload native renderings from file directory based on the data file field used within the mapping. Note that this ability can only be used in Chrome and Edge. | No | Yes |
New | Data Loading | There is now automatic reindexing of new or updated documents after upload completes. This function was previously available in the Review Manager desktop tool and is now available directly via the web Uploader without needing access to a load machine. | No | Yes |
New | Data Loading | Field mapping for delimited data is now available via web browser within the Project Admin module, significantly improving automatch and field categorization. | No | Yes |
New | Ask | *This feature is behind a feature flag and must be requested to be enabled. Monitoring and status tracking have been added for Ask indexing jobs. Users can now track the progress of embedding generation and document indexing, as well as identify any documents that failed to be indexed with valid embeddings. | Yes | Yes |
New | Live Data Overlay | Added new Live Data Overlay fields in Review to support tracking duplicate document metadata. The new fields—Duplicate Job Name, Duplicate Collection Location, and Duplicate Collection Source—allow users to capture additional details related to removed duplicate documents. New | Imaging | Support has now been introduced for converting native HEIC image file types to tiff and PDF. | Yes | No |
Fix | Custom Fields | Resolved an issue where copying settings did not fully copy custom fields to the Import Documents table in the database, causing metadata indexing to fail with 'Convert Failure' errors. Custom fields are now correctly copied and index without errors. | Yes | No |
Fix | Grid View | Resolved an issue where the grid displayed excessive whitespace and an unusable scrollbar when search results returned fewer documents than the grid's maximum row setting. The grid now adjusts to display only the number of results returned. | Yes | No |
Fix | Job Assignment | Resolved an issue where Auto-Assign Jobs were not running as scheduled after the initial batch. Scheduled jobs now execute at the specified intervals. | Yes | No |
Fix | Printing | Resolved an issue where the Redaction Profile selector was missing when printing with Source set to Image. The selector is now displayed consistently for both Image and PDF sources during the print process. | Yes | No |
Fix | Reports | Fixed an edge case with the tagging breakdown reports where displaying an incorrect total amount of documents tagged due to tag removal, and reuse of the same exact tag names. | Yes | No |
Fix | Tags | Resolved an issue where re-ordering nested tag sets within a higher-tiered tag set was not possible. Users can now re-order nested tag sets directly without needing to remove and re-add them. | Yes | No |

Fix | Indexing | Resolved an issue where Document Metadata Indexing could become stuck at 1–5% progress in the UI, despite the indexing process continuing in the background. Indexing progress now updates correctly in the UI. | Yes | No |
Fix | Processing Import | Resolved a MAPI processing issue where embedded RSMF data could be exported with missing family information. | Yes | No |
Fix | Reports | The De-duplication scope used in the ESI Summary report was swapped from the option selected. This has been corrected to properly report on the selected de-duplication scope. | Yes | No |
